Welcome to the heart of Verneuil-sur-Avre, a historic village in the Eure department on the edge of the Perche region. Our hotel, Verneuil la douce, is a “Demeure d’art” decorated by seven artists. Discover our gourmet restaurant, Patiné, as well as the tea room and bar beneath the period glass roof. Our light Esquisse Gourmande menu is available every day, with continuous service, open to all food lovers passing through. Our gourmet restaurant welcomes you, by reservation, on Thursday and Friday evenings, Saturday lunchtime and evening, and Sunday evening. On Sunday lunchtime, the day stretches out with a generous brunch. In our large glass-roofed lounge, the tea room and cocktail bar welcome you throughout the day, open to anyone looking for a moment of respite.

Behind its brick facade, a blend of Norman motifs and rare architectural reliefs inspired by the work of Viollet-le-Duc, our mansion has gracefully weathered the ages, its walls imbued with the spirit of a rich and vibrant history. It is this heritage that we aim to enhance through the work of seven artists who have transformed every space: the glass-roofed atrium, the guest rooms, the spa area, the pool, and the entrance hall. History blends with art in a sophisticated 4-star hotel setting.
