Wall art decor is at the heart of our hotel’s identity, transforming each space into a living gallery where imagination comes to life. By celebrating creativity and artistic expression, we aimed to offer an ode to contemporary art while highlighting emerging talents. Each wall becomes a canva, each room a unique piece that engages in dialogue with the soul of the place and invites contemplation. To bring this vision to life, we enlisted three artists with distinct styles.
Ségolène Derudder, an artist specialized in poetic and naturalistic frescoes, has enhanced the glasshouse lounge and the restaurant with wall compositions inspired by Greek mythology and historical references, in harmony with the surrounding nature. In those rooms, Ségolène has painted the walls with lines of lyrical poetry.
The French artist Ben Arpéa signs a bright fine art called « A Spring in Normandy » for the outside swimming pool. Through a composition of soft lines & delicates shades, it evokes the rebirth of the nature and the lightness of the first sunny days. His language, simultaneously abstract and sensible, transforms the swimming pool in a living painting inviting contemplation and escapism.
Specialist of customized decors in natural technique, Margot signs uniques frescoes in each bathroom of the hotel. She is putting in the spotlight the traditional techniques, including using paints that she is making herself from natural materials, such as lime and casein.
Multidisciplinary artist, Alice is fond of geometric shapes in bright colours. She makes the walls sing and the bottom of the inside swimming pool danses, where the abstracts forms respond each other both flat and in volume.
It is under the name of Hermentaire, his third name – tribute to the legendary knight who overcame the dragon of his birth city Draguignan – that Damien de Medeiros, multifaceted French artist, voices his creativity in the wellness area of the spa. He is creating a dreamlike universe, mingling ethnic tribes, poetry and animal.
Kimmy Quillin expresses herself through her vibrant and colorful works, which bring a touch of modernity and dynamism to our hotel. Her work, inspired by organic patterns and bright color palettes, has transformed the orangery into a dynamic space that stimulates the senses, where each event becomes a moment of artistic escape.
